You Focus on the Good’: Women Who Voted for Trump, in Their Own Words
He spoke to the people, not at the people and he acknowledged their pain. So, as the article shows, Hillary didn’t even know they existed while The Donald talked solutions.
Ben Stein, a very smart guy just said on Fox News that he is against PE Donald Trump’s tweeting about specific companies that he is threatening with high duties if they move or open new plants in other countries. I agree. But – as so many do, he just thinks after the Inauguration, things will be the same. Nope, I think he is now in save mode. Trying to delay what has been business as usual with the current administration that does not appreciate the importance of manufacturing jobs to the US economy. After he becomes President he will work differently to keep and add to jobs.
Sandra Bookman, Sandra Bookman, Sandra Bookman – the host of the weekly program about Black lives in America was interviewing Hawk Newsome, President of Black Lives Matter, NY. He had some very good points. Race relations, equal justice – (I have thought for the last 40 years that it is the MAJOR issue in America). He stated that the Democratic Party has not helped Black people as much as they talk about. (I interpret this as meaning they take very little action) He said he did not vote for President this past election (he voted for local candidates instead) – he was sending a message to the Democratic Party that he was not satisfied with them. (I thought that made a lot of sense) Ms. Bookman just kept asking why, she couldn’t understand why he didn’t vote for Hillary Clinton. He kept repeating himself, but to no avail. She just doesn’t get it. She just doesn’t get it!
Here was a spokesman for BLM making a great point – NO political party in this country has done enough to bring unity to America. Perhaps President Elect Trump will propose a new Cabinet post – responsible for bringing Equality and Unity to all people in America.
They just don’t get it. Well, except for Bernie Sanders, of all people. He realizes that PE Trump spoke to the millions of Americas that are suffering financially at the hands of politicians who have ignored their pain for decades. East and West coast folks have been able to find work in tech and transportation (moving imported goods), while middle America is only finding lower paying jobs – when they can find them. More and more people “retire” early, leave the workforce and look for cash paying jobs that don’t get taxed and they are no longer listed as unemployed. But, all I want to say today is that two months after the election they still don’t get it.
